[VIDEO] Cheap Trick Play 'Dream Police' Live

Billboard reports that the season finale of Guitar Center Sessions was taped for January 17 and features Cheap Trick performing their 1979 hit "Dream Police". It was the band's highest charting song, hitting #26 on the Billboard Hot 100. It's also the title track from an album that hit #6 on the Billboard 200 and was certified platinum by the RIAA. The band have toured the album recently in North America and re-released it with four bonus songs.

In the episode, Nic Harcourt talks with the band about their career, which has brougth them over 20 million album sales and 16 releases. The episode airs tomorrow at 9 PM ET/10 PM PT on DIRECTV's Audience Network (channel 239).

Dustin Hinz, director of music and entertainment marketing for the show, said: "Cheap Trick is the perfect way to close out another season of Guitar Center Sessions. We're always excited to bring quality music programming to fans across the country and after such a wide range of musical acts featured this season, a band as theatrical and dynamic as Cheap Trick is the only way to wrap."

Previous acts to appear on the program include Joan Jett & The Blackhearts, Gavin DeGraw, Gary Clark Jr., and Gary Allan.
