A lot of celebrities...
People reports that there were several celebrities at Michelle Obama's 50th birthday celebration at the White House's East Room, among a group of 500 people.
Beyonce performed half a dozen of her songs while Sasha and Malia Obama watched. Other celebrities include Stevie Wonder, Smokey Robinson, Hilary and Bill Clinton, Jennifer Hudson, Paul McCartney and top White House officials.
A source said: "It was just an incredible party, chock-full of celebrities. [Michelle] was enthralled. You could tell she had a lot of fun."
Food included mini crab cakes, fried oysters, roast beef sliders and champagne. John Legend sang two versions of "Happy Birthday".
Her husband, President Barack Obama, gave a speech about his wife. A source said: "A moving tribute to his wife, recounting the first time he laid eyes on her, how he was soaking wet and had on bad shoes but she didn't hold it against him. He thanked her for being patient with him. You could tell he had married his best friend."
