Grammy Nominee Album Set For Top 10 Debut Next Week
Posted by Jeremy Thomas on 01.24.2014

The 2014 Grammy Nominees album is set for a top ten debut next week. Billboard reports that the album, which includes songs by Lorde and Daft Punk that were nominated for this weekend's Grammy Awards, will sell around 40,000 copies by the end of the week on Sunday and will have a top ten bow, possibily as high as top five.

The top debut of the week will belong to A Great Big World, whose debut LP Is There Anybody Out There? aiming for around 45,000 copies. The LP gained visibility thanks to a collaboration with Christina Aguilera. #1 for the week will likely be the Frozen soundtrack with 85,000 copies sold, while Bruce Springsteen's High Hopes takes #2.
