Red Hot Chili Peppers Will Cover Led Zeppelin At Super Bowl
Posted by Joseph Lee on 01.28.2014

In an interview with Artisan News (via NME), Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith revealed that the band will perform a cover of Led Zeppelin's "Dazed and Confused" at the Super Bowl Halftime Show. The band will perform with Bruno Mars during the event, which takes place this Sunday.

Smith also said that they were surprised when Mars asked them to play with him, but his band was full of "great people". The event takes place at the MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. U2 will also debut their new song "Invisible" at the event, part of a commercial announcing Bono's RED charity's partnership with Bank of America.

Foo Fighters, Imagine Dragons, The Roots and Fall Out Boy will perform a series of pre-Superbowl events at New York's Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum between January 30 and February 1.
