They think Bieber will go for a plea dealů
TMZ reports that law enforcement sources believe that prosecutors will not back down in Justin Bieber's DUI case in Miami. They also believe their case is so strong that Bieber will cop for a plea deal.
According to sources connected to the case, prosecutors say the officer who made the observation that Bieber smelled of booze is an unimpeachable witness and one of the most authoritative people in the area on DUI. Though Bieber's blood alcohol level was reported as an imperceptible .014.
Law enforcement sources are also saying they are not buying the reported GPS readout for the rental cars Bieber and his friend were allegedly drag racing in. The GPS for the cars allegedly clocked them in as going at 27 MPH, under the 30 MPH speed limit. Police believe their own GPS system will show a higher rate of speed.
The sources are claiming that they are so confident in the case that it will never go to trial because Bieber was driving under the influence of marijuana and Xanax. They are certain that Bieber will take a deal.
Bottom line -- sources connected with the case are confident ... this case will NEVER go to trial because Justin was driving under the influence of marijuana and Xanax. They are virtually certain Justin will take a deal.
