Imagine Dragons Ties Billboard Singles Chart Record

Imagine Dragons have tied a record on the Billboard singles chart. Billboard reports that the group's "Radioactive" logged its seventy-sixth week on the chart this week at #23, tying the record set by Jason Mraz in 2008 and 2009. Short of a near-impossible fall, it will break the record next week. Neither song ever topped the charet but they had longevity on their side.

It's conceivable that the record may not hold for long though. AWOLNATION is also holding on in the chart, and "Sail" hit its seventy-fifth week this week at #41. If it holds on longer it will end up with the record. The ten longest tenures on the chart in its fifty-five year history are below:

1. "Radioactive," Imagine Dragons (76 weeks)
2. "I'm Yours," Jason Mraz (76 weeks)
3. "Sail," AWOLNATION (75 weeks)
4. "How Do I Live (69 weeks)
