Conrad Murray Denied Rehearing on Michael Jackson Manslaughter Conviction
Posted by Jeremy Thomas on 02.13.2014

Conrad Murray's request to have his appeal reheard in regard to his conviction of involuntary manslaughter in the case of Michael Jackson has been denied. Billboard reports that the 2nd District Court of Appeal issued a ruling denying the request once again.

Conrad's lawyer had asked corrections of clerical and grammatical errors made during an opinion rendered last month to prepare for his appeal with the California Supreme Court. While the corrections were made, the document concluded, "Appellant's petition for rehearing is denied."

Murray's 2011 conviction put him in jail for two years for Jackson's death; he was found guilty of administering a lethal dose of the anesthetic Propofol to the pop icon.
