Justin Bieber's Drug Habits Could Be Problematic If He Moves
Posted by Jeremy Thomas on 02.18.2014

As previously reported, Justin Bieber is considering a move back to Atlanta. But if he does, it could put him behind bars. As TMZ notes, Bieber's plans to buy a home in Atlanta and live there part-time would put him in a state where his use of marijuana and "sizzurp" are both hefty crimes.

The site notes that possession of marijuana can land you in jail for a year, and if it is more than an ounce it can lead to up to ten years in jail. Unprescribed codeine use is a felony that carries a sentence of up to fifteen years.

Conversely, in California possession of twenty-eight and a half grams or less of marijuana is a ticket, and more than that gets you six months in jail at most. Sizzurp is is a felony but maxes out at three years.
