Kanye West Is Writing His Own Biopic
Posted by Joseph Lee on 02.27.2014

Radar Online reports that Kanye West is writing his very own biopic and he will have a role in it for Kim Kardashian. He is writing the film with Bret Easton Ellis (American Psycho). Ellis confirmed the two were working on the script.

A source said: "It's going to be based on the ‘Yeezus‘ album. That's pretty much a narrative of Kanye's life. [West] will not appear in the movie. Kim is definitely going to be in it. The screenplay already features her character. They're still working on the script, so it's unclear at this point if Kim will be a major star of the movie or making a smaller cameo, but her role in the movie will be pivotal. Her role is going to be very dramatic. Far from the bubbly happy persona that she's always played."

Kardashian will likely get some help from West, who wants to direct the film and "wants to be heavily involved in all aspects of production."

The source added: "It's going to be dedicated to Kanye's mother."

Donda West died of complications from plastic surgery in 2007. A release date has not been set for the film. Easton Ellis told Vice: "It's Kanye Land, and that's subject to a whole other time frame."
