From Physical Graffiti...
Billboard reports that rare mixes from Led Zeppelin's 1975 album Physical Graffiti will be up for auction at next month's Marvels of Modern Music event.
The demo reels include early versions of songs like "Kashmir," "Custard Pie," and "In the Light." You can here demos of those songs below. In some of the clips, the drums are the only instrument in the final product, with guitars and vocals re-recorded later and more orchestration added. They're very different from the final versions of the songs. The demos come from the Ron Nevinson Collection. The Marvels of Modern Music auction is presented by the New Hampshire-based company RR Auction.
