He got more than a year...
A former accountant for Pearl Jam's management company has received fourteen months in prison for his conviction on grounds of embezzling more than $300,000 from the band. According to the Seattle Times, Rickey Goodrich was sentenced in court on Friday and allowed two weeks to get his financial affairs in order. He will return after that point for formal sentencing.
Goodrich pled guilty in December to six counts of first-degree theft for using company accounts to pay his personal debts and go on family vacation. He has paid back $125,000, and prosecutors say he has agreed to pay more in restitution.
