Pharrell Williams Auctions His Grammy Hat For Charity
Posted by Jeremy Thomas on 03.03.2014

If you saw the Grammy Awards earlier this year, you probably remember Pharrell Williams' appearance more for his enormous hat than his wins or performance. Pharrell has put the hat to a good cause now, as he auctioned it off for charity. According to a message on Pharell's Twitter, the hat went for over $44,000 and the proceeds went to the From One Hand To AnOTHER charity that he co-founded to benefit "underserved youth between the ages of 7 and 20 in at risk communities throughout the country."

As it turned out, it was Arby's who bought the hat. The company had joked after the Grammys that they "wanted their hat back" due to its similarity to their logo.
