Bruce Springsteen To Headline Free Festival During Final Four Week

Billboard reports that Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band will headline the 2014 NCAA March Madness Music Festival, which runs at the same time as the Final Four tournament from April 4 to April 6. He will close the festival. It will be held at Reunion Park (site of the old Reunion Arena) in Dallas, Texas, on Sunday, April 6. It's part of the Capital One JamFest. Fun. will join Springsteen for the show.

This will be Springsteen's first US concert since his tour of South Africa, Australia and New Zealand to support his new album High Hopes (which went to #1 on the Billboard 200). A tour of the US will follow starting April 8 in Cincinnati, Ohio.

The festival begins on April 4 with the AT&T Block Party, headlined by Jason Aldean. Tim McGraw will headline the Coke Zero Countdown Concert in the afternoon on April 5, with The Killers headlining that night after the first national semifinal game that broadcasts at the venue. Each event takes place all day long. More performances, events and highlights will be announced later.

Past performers include Sting, Dave Matthews Band, Muse, Kings of Leon, Jimmy Buffett, Kiss, the Black Keys, Kenny Chesney, Taylor Swift among many others. You can find more information here.
