Queens of the Stone Age and Nine Inch Nails Will Not Team Up During Joint Tour
Posted by Joseph Lee on 03.05.2014

In an interview with Triple J (via NME), Queens of the Stone Age's Josh Homme said his band will not team up with Nine Inch Nails during their joint tour. The two will perform for eight shows in Australia and New Zealand. The headliner for each night will be decided by a coin toss.

When asked if they would perform their medley of NIN's "Copy of A" and QOTSA's "My God is The Sun" that was cut short at the Grammys, Homme said: "The initial plan is for everyone to do their thing. So much of the time it sounds lovely to smash it all together. Let's just start by everyone kicking their ass and doing their thing."

He added that he wouldn't rule anything out. The tour begins at the Sydney Entertainment Center on March 6 and will visit Newcastle, Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Brisbane, Auckland and Christchurch. The band will be supported by Homme's wife Brody Dalle.
