Man Convicted in Death of Usher’s Stepson Receives Prison Sentence

The Associated Press (via Billboard) reports that the man, Jeffrey Hubbard, convicted in the jet ski crash that killed the stepson of Usher has been sentenced to four years in prison.
Hubbard was riding on a jet ski that hit 11-year-old Kile Glover and another child in an inner tube on Lake Lanier northeast of Atlanta in the summer of 2012. Glover died days after the crash.
Hubbard was convicted last month of homicide by vessel, serious injury by vessel, reckless operation of a vessel, unlawful operation of a personal watercraft and a boat traffic violation.
