Justin Bieber's DUI Trial Has Been Postponed To May

The Associated Press reports that Justin Bieber's trial for his DUI charge will happen on May 5. He is also facing charges of resisting arrest and possessing an invalid driver's license. Prosecutors said on Monday that no plea offer was made for Bieber, who pleaded not guilty.
The date was postponed while lawyers for news organizations and Bieber could come to an agreement on the release of that had him giving a urine sample for a drug test after his arrest. Bieber and Khalil Amir Sharieff were arrested on January 23 in Miami Beach after police claimed the two of them were involved with an illegal drag race. A breathalyzer test showed that Bieber's blood alcohol content was below the .02 limit for underage drivers. Other tests revealed marijuana and Xanax.
