Posted by Joseph Lee on 03.12.2014

Billboard reports that Pharrell Williams' "Happy" is once again #1 on the Digital Songs Chart with 490,000 downloads. This is the biggest week for a song since Katy Perry's "Roar" brought in 557,000 in the week ending August 18, 2013. This is the 13th largest sales week ever for a digital song and eighth-largest for a non-debuting song.

Coldplay's song "Magic" debuts at #7 this week with 114,000. The song was released on March 3 and is the first single from the album Ghost Stories (out May 19). Their last album, 2011's Mylo Xyloto, had the lead single "Every Teardrop is a Waterfall" and debuted at #17 on the Digital Songs chart with 85,000 after three days. After a full week it climbed to #7 with 136,000.

1. Pharrell Williams - "Happy" (490,000)
2. John Legend - "All of Me" (210,000)
3. Jason Derulo (ft. 2 Chainz) - "Talk Dirty" (195,000)
4. Idina Menzel - "Let It Go" (185,000)
5. Katy Perry (ft. Juicy J) - "Dark Horse" (182,000)
6. Bastille - "Pompeii" (117,000)

8. Aloe Blacc - "The Man" (108,000)

10. The Chainsmokers - "#SELFIE" (88,000)

Digital track sales totaled 23.04 million downloads, up less than 1% compared to last week (22.99 million) and down 9% compared to last year (25.4 million). Year-to-date track sales are at 247.1 million, down 11% compared with the same total at this point last year (278.8 million).
