He says he was drunk and misunderstood...
Josh Homme has commented on his declaration of "f**k Imagine Dragons and f**k the Grammys" at a concert last month. As you may recall, the Queens Of The Stone Age frontman joked during the Texas gig that one of their songs was from Imagine Dragons and when the crowd booed, he said, "F**k everything. F**k the man. F**k Imagine Dragons and f**k the Grammys." Imagine Dragons beat QOTSA out for the Grammy for Best Rock Performance this year.
Speaking with Faster Louder he said that he was a bit intoxicated. He told the site, "I'd play anywhere, I don't care about the drama. I got misunderstood for something I said when I was reacting to someone in the audience recently, and not to mention I was really drunk. But the truth is, is that I'm a musician, I play my music. I don't really worry about the rest, and I don't think it's necessary to worry or sweat the rest of this stuff. Just go and play your music... I don't like to be disrespected, but nobody likes that."
