J. Lo and Nicki Minaj Enjoy Nice Surges on This Week’s Billboard Social 50 Chart

Billboard reports that Jennifer Lopez had a surge on this week's Billboard Social 50 chart after the debut of her new single, "I Luh Ya Papi," featuring French Montana.

J. Lo gained 355,000 new fans on Facebook and had an overall 55% increase in conversation on the platform for the week ending March 9. "Luh" received 20 million plays for the week on Lopez's YouTube channel after it was uploaded on March 6.

Also moving up the chart, Demi Lovato moved up from 15-6 after posting a large amount of content to her social channels to promote her Neon Lights tour. Lovato had a 43% gain in new fans.

Nicki Minaj also had a boost up the chart from 22-10. She posted a lot of pictures on herself during the week in skimpy attire on Instagram. This increased engagement on Minaj by 421% on the platform.

Rounding out the top 10: Justin Bieber moved up to the top No. 1 slot from No. 2; Shakira goes down to No. 2; Miley Cyrus stayed at No. 3; Katy Perry remained at No. 4; Rihanna moved up from 8-7; Selena Gomez moved up from 16-8; and Taylor Swift also moved up from 10-9.
