Check out the March Madness version of "Shot at the Night"...
Billboard reports that The Killers have provided the official theme for NCAA's March Madness. The song is called "Shot at the Night" and is featured in a new video that debuted last night on Turner and CBS networks.
It was shot last month at the Skywalk outside Grand Canyon National Park. The video, presented in different forms (from ten seconds long to ninety seconds long), will be shown on broadcast, social, digital and in-cinema platforms during the NCAA tournament starting on March 18 and ending in April. The song was the lead single from last year's greatest hits set Direct Hits.
Christina Miller, Turner Sports SVP and GM of Strategy, Marketing and Programming, said: "When you listen to the song, you know why it is so fitting for March Madness. It's all about getting that shot, that moment, that time. It fits the tone of the Tournament and brings it to life."
The Killers will perform during the March Madness Music Festival on Saturday, April 5 at the Coke Zero Countdown concert at Reunion Park in Dallas. Other acts for the festival include Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, Jason Aldean, Tim McGraw and Fun. It runs April 4-6.
