He has to go to anger management therapy...
Kanye West has avoided jail time on charges of battering a paparazzo, on the condition that he complete anger management therapy. TMZ reports that West pled no contest to misdemeanor battery today and got the charge of attempted grand theft (in regard to the camera) dismissed.
As you may recall, Kanye was charged after he went after a photographer who was taunting him outside of LAX. The photographer was in court and said that he believed West should be jailed for the incident, claiming that Kanye traumatized him and gave him "emotional injuries." Instead though, the judge gave him twenty-four months informal probation. if he hasn't violated his probation in that time, the conviction will be removed from his record.
He must also complete twenty-four private therapy sessions for anger management, do 250 hours of community service and keep clear of the paparazzo, whose equipment damage and medical bills he has to cover.
