Chris Brown Remains in Jail Following Hearing on Rehab Violation
Posted by Jeremy Thomas on 03.17.2014

Chris Brown is getting some actual jail time at last. TMZ reports that Brown is being kept in jail after he was arrested for being kicked out of anger management rehab on Friday.

As you may recall, Brown was ordered by the judge to remain at the facility while the assault charges against him in Washington, DC were pending in order to determine if probation was violated. Brown was kicked out on Friday after he violated several rules, including refusing to submit to a random drug test and mocking rehab during a group session.

According to the judge in today's hearing, Brown has an "inability to stay out of trouble" and was concerned that Brown said at the facility, "I am good at using guns and knives." Brown will be in jail until April 23rd, which will be around the Washington DC jury will determine if he committed criminal assault. That trial starts April 17th and should only last a few days. There will then be a probation hearing on April 23rd and if Brown is convicted in that case, he could be put behind bars for up to four years.

The probation, of course, is in regard to his 2009 domestic assault against Rihanna. Brown has had quite the troubled history with his probation, including having his community service time reset after it was determined that the work he had been reported to have done wasn't entirely accurate.
