Posted by Joseph Lee on 03.19.2014

Eric Idle has confirmed on Twitter that he's working on new Monty Python songs for the Monty Python Sings re-release, appropriately titled Monty Python Sings (Again). The album will have five new songs along with the group's most well-known comedy songs. A new single will be out in May before several reunion shows at London's O2 Arena in July.

Idle has been working on the music with composer John Du Prez, who created the score to The Meaning of Life and worked with Idle on the stage musical Spamalot.

The album was released in 1989. It features classics like "Always Look On The Bright Side of Life" and "Knights of the Round Table (Camelot Song)".
