Man Says He Was Supposed to Be Resurrected John Lennon in Lady Gaga's Video
Posted by Jeremy Thomas on 03.25.2014

A man says that he was cut from Lady Gaga's latest music video, where he was playing a resurrected John Lennon. If you've seen the music video for "G.U.Y." you know that there's a point in the video where Gaga brings Michael Jackson, Gandhi and Jesus back from the dead and that there is a fourth coffin which doesn't have anyone come out. TMZ reports the fourth was supposed to be Alexander Karavay, who was cast as John Lennon after submitting a photo.

The scenes were shot but cut out of the final version. While Karavay is disappointed that he was cut, he understands because as TMZ says, "Gaga is an artist and perhaps it was her vision to cut him out."
