Pharrell Williams Spends Fifth Week on Top of Billboard Singles Chart
Posted by Jeremy Thomas on 03.26.2014

Pharrell Williams has spend his fifth week at #1 on the Billboard singles chart. Billboard reports that "Happy" topped the Hot 100 for its fifth frame, holding off John Legend's "All of Me." Legend's song was up one spot to #2, a high point for Legend on the chart. That left Katy Perry's "Dark Horse" featuring Juicy J down a week from last week, finishing at #3.

Coming in at #4 was Jason Derulo's "Talk Dirty" featuring 2 Chainz, while Idina Menzel rocketed back into the top ten with "Let It Go" from the Frozen soundtrack. The Oscar-winning song was up nine spots to #5. It's the highest-charting Best Original Song winner since Eminem's "Lose Yourself" hit #1 in 2002.

In the bottom half of the top ten, Bastille's "Pompeii" was down a spot to #6. Lorde's "Team" also slipped a spot to #7 and OneRepublic's "Counting Stars" was down a spot to #8. Aloe Blacc was up one to #9 with "The Man" and Beyonce's "Drunk in Love" featuring Jay Z was down two to #10.
