BBC reports that Cee Lo Green (real name Thomas DeCarlo Callaway) has appeared in court in Los Angeles Friday over claims that he spiked a woman's drink with an ecstasy tablet. The woman claims it happened in July 2012 at a Los Angeles sushi restaurant. Green first appeared in courti n October and denied the charge of using a controlled substance. He faces a sentence of four years in prison. A preliminary hearing was set for April 28.
Green hired Blair Berk, who has defended celebrities like Lindsay Lohan and Gerard Butler. A rape charge had previously been dropped because of a lack of evidence.
