American Express Sponsoring Live-Streamed Maroon 5 Concert
Posted by Jeremy Thomas on 04.02.2014

American Express has announced that they are sponsoring a live-streamed concert with Maroon 5 and are partnering with iTunes Radio. Billboard reports that the Maroon 5 concert will take place on June 20th and will be part of a three-day event in New York City called the "Epic EveryDay GetAway," which will promote their new Every Day credit card. Details on the concert are still being finalized.

AmEX EVP of card products and benefits Elizabeth Rutledge said, "We asked a group of multi-tasking moms what some of their favorite groups and singers were, and Adam Levine and Maroon 5 came right out on top. Everything, from the name of the product itself to the experiences, has come from that audience."

The company's iTunes partnership will see them as the presenting sponsor of First Play, which is a stream of new albums for the week before their release. The partnership began with The Hold Steady's Teeth Dreams, which streamed for the week before its March 25th release date.
