Chris Brown Headed to Washington, DC For Assault Trial Hearing
Posted by Jeremy Thomas on 04.03.2014

Chris Brown is headed to Washington, DC for the trial in his assault case. TMZ reports that Brown is headed to a federal holding facility in San Bernardino, California where he will be flown across the country to stand trial on the charges that he attacked a man who attempted to photobomb a picture of him.

Brown will be guarded by U.S. Marshals, along with the rest of the transports, and restrained as per regulations. It is not a non-stop flight and he will probably not arrive until Sunday. The flights go through Oklahoma and stop along the way to pick up other prisoners. His hearing is set for Monday, with his lawyer trying to get the charges dismissed under the argument that prosecutors inappropriately used the grand jury to gain an unfair advantage in the criminal case.

If he loses that motion, Brown will wait in jail in DC until the trial begins on April 17th.
