For his solo album
Taylor Hawkins has revealed new details about his collaboration with fellow Foo Fighters member Dave Grohl on his upcoming solo album. The drummer told NME that Grohl has co-written several tracks and has drummed on the album, The Birds Of Satan, which releases on April 15th.
"Dave was only there for two days, but when he came in, I'm like, 'I wanna write a song that's prog-rock fandango with insanity parts flying around everywhere,'" Hawkins said. "I want it to sound like [Queen]'s 'March Of The Black Queen' meets 'Station To Station' by Bowie meets fucking 'Band On The Run' meets 'Three Days' by Jane's Addiction. Because who cares? And we did it, in one day."
The tracklist for the album is below
'The Ballad Of The Birds Of Satan'
'Thanks For The Line'
'Pieces Of The Puzzle'
'Nothing At All'
'Wait Til Tomorrow'
'Too Far Gone To See'
