Posted by Jeremy Thomas on 04.04.2014

UPDATED: TMZ reports that the man who was arrested for trespassing today on Selena Gomez's property had just been convicted and jailed for breaking into the house last week.

The site reports that the man is Che Cruz, who pled no contest on Wednesday to Unauthorized Entry of a Dwelling. He was sentenced to 45 days in Los Angeles County Jail and ordered to keep away from Gomez and her home for a three year period. The site says he was released two days later due to overcrowding, and went straight to her home.

ORIGINAL: The police were called to Selena Gomez's home on a suspected burglary incident that turned out to be trespassing. TMZ reports that a man jumped the fence into Gomez's property in Calabasas, California and police showed up quickly. Gomez has had several such issues this year; a man was convicted of trespassing at her old house in February and received 120 days in jail. Another man was arrested on her property while she was home and was was arrested for burglary and trespassing.
