BET and Viacom have been sued by the victim of a shooting at the 2011 BET Awards after-party. TMZ reports that Antwon Black has filed suit against the network, its parent company and the Compound Nightclub after he was shot in a leg by one of the regular patrons at the club, where the party was hosted.
Black claims in his suit that the club was in error for allowing the patron in without checking for weapons and that Viacom and BET also failed in its duty to keep the club safe. This is the same after-party where Puff Daddy nearly fought with someone because they were drinking something other than his Ciroc vodka and had to be talked down by T.I.
