They've been given the okay...
Reuters reports that Miley Cyrus and Justin Timberlake will be allowed to perform their scheduled concerts in Helsinki, Finland even though the US has issued sanctions against the Hartwall Arena's Russian owners.
The shows were in danger because the venue is owned by Gennady Timchenko and Boris and Arkady Rotenberg. All three are on a list of visa bans and asset freezes from the US after Russia annexed the Crimean peninsula from Ukraine. The concert promoter said that officials have given their approval for Cyrus and Timberlake to go ahead with the concerts.
Live Nation Finland chief executive Nina Castren said: "The sanctions will not have an impact on Hartwall Arena nor our business there."
Timberlake has a sold-out concert in May and Cyrus will perform in June. Hartwall is Finland's largest venue.
