They said Beretta used Presley’s image without their consent…
TMZ reports that Elvis Presley's estate, Elvis Presley Enterprises, is filing a lawsuit against Beretta, the gun maker. Presley's estate is claiming that Beretta used Elvis Presley's face and name to promote their new 692 shotgun without their permission.
Elvis impersonators also reportedly made an appearance at the Beretta booth at the 2013 SHOT show in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Per the lawsuit, while Elvis Presley was a gun enthusiast, his estate never gave Beretta permission to use his image in their ad campaigns. Elvis Presley Enterprises is suing for damages and wants Beretta to stop using Elvis' image.
