Childish Gambino Wants Out of His Record Deal With Glassnote Records
Posted by Jeremy Thomas on 04.14.2014

Childish Gambino has had it with his record label. The rapper and comedian, real name Donald Glover, posted a lengthy Twitter rant asking someone to "buy me out of my contract" with Glassnote Records because of what he views as mishandling of his last music video, for his track "Sweatpants." It's off of his album Because the Internet which released late last year.

You can see a screenshot of the rant (via Billboard, which accuses the label of not handling the video and his Deep Web Tour blog correctly. The video was released earlier today and can also be seen below.

Gambino has released his last two albums through Glassnote. He left his gig on Community midway through the current season.
