Courtney Love's Latest Video Blog Reveals She Doesn't Like Bruce Springsteen
Posted by Jeremy Thomas on 04.15.2014

Courtney Love has said in her latest "Love on Love" YouTube series that she doesn't like Bruce Springsteen as a musician. In the video, which you can see below, she offers her thoughts on the New Jersey-born rocker by saying with a shrug, "I like [his 1983 album] Nebraska...And whenever I say that to a Springsteen person, they look at me funny."

She goes on to say that, "I really like him. He's a nice guy. Cameron Crowe, an old, very dear friend of mine, took me to the Staples Center for a three-night gig, and I could only last an hour and a half in a three-and-a-half hour show with the Boss."

When she gets around to why she doesn't like him, she says, "My Springsteen problem is just that saxophones don't belong in rock & roll," referring to the E Street Band's wide use of instrumentation. "They just don't belong."

She finished off by noting, "I don't think he sits around listening to Hole records, do you?" She's probably right.
