Beck Hoping To Have Another Album Out By End of the Year
Posted by Jeremy Thomas on 04.17.2014

Beck says that he's hoping to get a second album released this year. The singer, whose album Morning Phase dropped earlier this year and broke a six-year stretch of no new recorded albums for him, told KCRW in Santa Monica that he was hoping to get a second album out by the end of 2014.

Beck told the station, "I've been working on and off on a different set of songs they're more boisterous (than Morning Phase). You're screwed with any kind of adjective," he cautioned, "but hopefully we'll get it out this year."

The interview took place at a concert in the Los Angeles-adjacent city, during which he performed six songs from Morning Phase as part of the sixteen-song set. The setlist is below:

"Golden Age"
"Blackbird Chains"
"Say Goodbye"
"Don't Let It Go"
"Waking Light"
"Country Down"
"Lost Cause"
"Blue Moon"
"Soldier Jane"
"Think I'M in Love --> I Feel Love"
"Devils Haircut"
"Soul of a Man"
"Black Tambourine"
"Sissyneck"
"Billie Jean"
"E-Pro"
