The Black Keys Don't See Themselves as Underdogs Anymore

Now they're targets...
The Black Keys say that the days are past when they were considered underdogs in the music industry. The band spoke to Mojo and said that they no longer consider themselves unlikely rock stars and are now more along the lines of targets for critical listeners.
Drummer Patrick Carney told the magazine, "I don't view is as underdogs any more. In fact, I view us as more of a target now...I think there's probably people that just want us to fuck it all up. It's inevitable that you fuck it up somehow. It makes more sense to the universe if we fuck up, d'you know what I mean?"
By "it," he's referring to the band's upcoming eighth album Turn Blue, which releases on May 12th. It's the first Black Keys album since 2011's critical darling El Camino. The tracklisting for the album is below:
"Weight Of Love"
"Year In Review"
"Bullet In The Brain"
"It's Up To You Now"
"Waiting On Words"
"In Our Prime"
"Gotta Get Away"
