Guns N' Roses Could Have New Album Next Year, Says Guitarist
Posted by Jeremy Thomas on 04.24.2014

Guns N' Roses could be releasing a new album next year. Guitarist Richard Fortus told Billboard on Wednesday at the Revolver Golden God Awards that new material is being worked on that could be released within the next year.

Fortus said, "We are working on stuff and hopefully very soon we're going to have new stuff out. Well, in the next year."

This would be the band's first album since Chinese Democracy in 2008. Of course, six years isn't long in perspective; there was a fifteen year delay between Chinese Democracy and The Spaghetti Incident? in 1993.

Fortus added, "We're going to be in Vegas all together, so hopefully during that time we're going to be able to get in a room and start laying down some more stuff." He's talking about the group's residency at the Joint inside the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino that begins on May 21st.
