Soulja Boy Campaigning for Cough Syrup Used for Sizzurp to be Brought Back on the Market
Posted by Jeffrey Harris on 04.26.2014

TMZ reports that Soulja Boy is campaigning for Actavis to bring their cough syrup with codeine, which is used as an ingredient in sizzurp or lean, back on the market. Soulja Boy believes sick people need it.

Soulja Boy reportedly said that he's "mad as hell" that Actavis decided to end production of promethazine codeine. He says it doesn't punish rappers but hurts the sick. He added that their decision doesn't truly have anything to do with celebrities drinking it, despite what the company said. He also stated, "Actavis is running away from money ... they could be selling out everywhere."

Soulja Boy claimed that he drinks Actavis on the road so he can sleep and says there is nothing wrong with that. He added on lean or sizzurp, "As far as the lean goes, just know I been had the juice since 2011."
