Village People Singer Removes Ban on L.A. Clippers Playing 'Y.M.C.A'

As we previously reported, Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling's racist comments that leaked out over the weekend cost them not only sponsors and just about any grain of goodwill the team could have; it also cost them the use of Village People music. Victor Willis--or as you and I know him, "The Cop From the Village People"--had said that as the owner of the band's most iconic music he was disallowing them from playing it as long as Sterling was in charge.

However, now that Sterling has been banned from all day-to-day involvement with the team, Willis has changed his mind. He posted the following to Twitter:



So good news: Sterling is banned from games. Bad news: "Y.M.C.A." isn't.
