LMFAO Respond To Rick Ross' Lawsuit Against Them
Posted by Joseph Lee on 05.06.2014

TMZ reports that LMFAO are planning to fight Rick Ross' lawsuit against them in court. Ross sued LMFAO in December, claiming they stole his lyric "Everyday I'm hustlin'" (from 2006's "Hustlin'") for their song "Party Rock Anthem". In their song, they change it to the line "Everyday I'm shufflin'", but Ross think it's obvious they stole the track.

They said they parodied the lyric and claimed it's part of the music business. They also claimed that Ross is a former corrections officer who made a fake thug persona to gain credibility in the hip-hop community.

Meanwhile, Redfoo spoke with TMZ and said either Ross can sit down with him and settle the suit or get defeated in court. He said that if the two meet in person they can clear up the misunderstanding and end the suit without going to court. He added that he has "love" for Ross and would even teach him to do the shuffle dance. He wouldn't comment on the specifics of the case.
