Miley Cyrus Denies Rumors of Drug Overdose
Posted by Jeremy Thomas on 05.06.2014

When Miley Cyrus postponed her tour last month, she claimed that it was due to an allergy to antibiotics. But that didn't stop rumors from popping up all over the place claiming that she had suffered a drug overdose. Miley is now hitting out at those rumors, reiterating her story and calling herself the "poster child for good health." (We are assuming she means physical and not mental.)

Miley spoke at a press conference at the O2 Arena in London (via MTV News), addressing the rumors on the eve of her first show since she was hospitalized which caused her to postpone eight tour dates. "I didn't have a drug overdose," she said. "I took some shy antibiotics that a doctor gave me for a sinus infection and I had a reaction."

She continued, "You have no idea how ready I am. There is nothing I would rather not do than lay in a bed for two weeks. It was the most miserable two weeks of my life..."I'm the poster child for good health. I'm on this crazy vitamin rush and crazy honey and lavender. I learned a lot about taking care of yourself."

She concluded with a testament to her own health, saying, "I'm probably the only one on this tour who doesn't drink or smoke before a show, as I take this really seriously. It's almost like being an athlete being up here, because if someone was fed up, they definitely couldn't do my show."
