Photographer Suing Justin Bieber and Bodyguard Over Alleged Assault in Miami
Posted by Jeffrey Harris on 05.15.2014

TMZ reports that a photographer is suing Justin Bieber because Bieber's bodyguard allegedly locked him in a Subway restaurant and injured him the night Bieber was arrested for DUI.

Manuel Munoz is claiming in the lawsuit that he was taking pictures of Bieber as he was leaving SET Nightclub in Miami Beach last January. This happened supposedly minutes before Bieber was arrested by police. He claims that Bieber's bodyguard was upset about the photos and chased him into a nearby Subway. The bodyguard then allegedly locked the door of the restaurant and cornered him in the bathroom and demanded he delete the photos. Munoz says the bodyguard tried to forcibly remove the memory card and then kicked and punched him and says his camera was damaged.

According to the police report Munoz filed, Munoz says he was never punched or kicked, but the bodyguard "tripped" him and caused him to get a "small scratch on his left knee." The report also says the two haggled in the restroom and Munoz told the bodyguard he would give Bieber the pictures for $10,000. The bodyguard drew the line at $5,000, according to the report. Munoz is suing Bieber and bodyguard Dwayne Patterson for unspecified damages.

You can listen to an audio clip of Munoz's 911 call below.
