Rare U2 Recording And Interview To Be Auctioned Off

NME reports that a rare U2 live recording and audio from an interview are set to be auctioned off. The recordings are from an early concert at the Vera in Groningen, Holland on October 16, 1980. It features four songs. The interview is fifteen minutes long and includes Bono and the Edge talking about their plans for the band. According to Omega Auctions in Stockport, the interview has quotes like "we don't like England"; "U2 wanna be the biggest group in the world"; and "America is sick and wounded and has a lot of bad groups".
The auction happens on May 30 with recordings expected to sell for £1,000 ($1,684). They come with previously unpublished photos (which you can find here). The interview and photos come with a copyrights while the live recording is being sold as an artifact for personal use only.
