Posted by Joseph Lee on 05.21.2014

Billboard reports that Queen and Adam Lambert have announced an Australia tour for August and September. This will be the band's first trip to the country since 1985.

Promoter Paul Dainty said: "Since I have started promoting and producing concert tours, one of my biggest dreams has been to bring Queen back to Australia and now this dream is a reality. [The tour] may be the last chance Australian fans have to see one of the greatest rock bands in history."

Brian May added: "Let's ROCK those beautiful arenas just ONE MORE TIME!"

Advance tickets go on sale to Visa cardholders on noon tomorrow until 11 PM Sunday here. Everyone else can buy tickets starting on May 28 at 10 AM.

Lambert tweeted:

Here are the dates:

  • Aug. 22 Perth Arena
  • Aug. 26 Allphones Arena, Sydney
  • Aug. 29 Rod Laver Arena, Melbourne
  • Sept. 1 Brisbane Entertainment Centre
