NME reports that rare footage from 1994 has leaked online, featuring Oasis performing "Cigarettes & Alcohol" at the Lomax in Liverpool on April 13. This was thirteen days after their debut single "Supersonic" was released. The song only hit #31 on the charts, Oasis' lowest-charting single. It had sales of almost 220,000 since 1994 and is their thirteenth best-selling release.
The footage was released for the 20th anniversary re-release of the band's debut album Definitely Maybe: Chasing The Sun Edition. The three CD set includes a remastered version of the album along with alternate cuts, live recordings and demos of 'Strange Thing' and 'Married With Children'. A deluxe vinyl box set was also released which, in addition to the three CDs, features the album on heavyweight vinyl, a 56-page hardback coffee table book, a 12x12 inch print, a tote bag, an enamel keyring, a badge set, a set of five postcards and exclusive seven-inch. There is also a replica of the 1993 demo cassette Oasis handed out before they were signed.
Reissues of 1995's (What's The Story) Morning Glory? and 1997's Be Here Now will arrive later this year.
