Whitney Houston's Family Thinks She Deserves Better Than A Lifetime TV Movie
Posted by Joseph Lee on 05.26.2014

Lifetime's making a movie about Whitney Houston and her family is not happy about it. TMZ reports that Houston's family are upset because they think she deserves more than a TV movie. Lifetiem announced the film earlier this week. It will be directed by Angela Bassett in her debut and will air in 2015.

Houston's family are actually considering a lawsuit to stop the film from being made. They've already had problems with Lifetime and have said they do not support the movie. The estate had already been planning its own movie, similar to Michael Jackson's This Is It.

Pat Houston said: "Whitney is certainly worthy of more than a television movie. If Whitney were here today, this would not be happening."
