It would be in five years...
Woodstock's fiftieth anniversary is five years away and we may get another iteration of the festival then. Michael Lang, who helped organize the original 1969 festival, told Rolling Stone that he is considering a concert in 2019 to mark the anniversary.
Lang noted that there will be a forty-fifth anniversary concert this year, adding, "I think we're certainly done until the 50th. We're starting to think about it now." Lang noted that he is currently looking into a number of prospective locations for the possible show; the original took place in Bethel, New York and featured sets from the likes of Jimi Hendrix and The Who. A thirtieth anniversary show in 1999 became infamous when it turned violent during Limp Bizkit and Red Hot Chili Peppers. It was reported that four people were raped raped during the riots.
