Michael Jackson Fan Suing His Estate Over 2010 Album Michael
Posted by Joseph Lee on 06.13.2014

TMZ reports that Michael Jackson fan Vera Serova (identified by Law360.com) filed a lawsuit against Michael Jackson's estate yesterday because she doesn't think he was the lead singer on three of the songs on the 2010 album Michael.

Serova bought the album in 2011 but didn't hear Michael on "Breaking News", "Monster" and "Keep Your Head Up". She claims she hired an audio expert to analyze the release, who said it was "very likely" that Jackson wasn't the lead singer on the tracks. This was the first release after his death.

Serova wants the case to be a class action suit, meaning that the Estate would owe money to anyone who purchased the songs or the full album. Estate lawyer Howard Weitzman previously said that Jackson provided lead vocals on all of the songs on Michael.
