Ed Lover says Yo! MTV Raps Won't Ever Come Back
Posted by Jeremy Thomas on 06.18.2014

Ed Lover is best known as co-host of the famous Yo! MTV Raps with Dr. Dre and Fab 5 Freddy in the late 1980s and early to mid 1990s. According to Lover, there won't be a reunion despite hopes by some to the contrary. Lover told TMZ that he refuses to go back to working on a network.

Lover was asked about a potential reunion and told the site, "We'll never go back to Yo! MTV Raps. We don't go backward; we go forward." He continued on, saying, "MTV owned us. Now we own." He is now doing a project called Watch Hip-Hop Now and hosts "The Ed Lover Show" on SiriusXM.
